the 7" split with our dear buddies Abject Object from Paris is out !
wooohooo ! it took time but it's worth it.

About our upcoming first full length "Les Grandes Marées" LP/CD, the test pressings have been aproved so it will be out very soon.

The tour with Old Growth is almost all booked. Just few shows to fill.
By the way, we need serious help on october 25th in Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia or Austria. We sent dozens of emails but nothing seem to work out... so if you're living in this area and want us to play in your town, drop us a line at werare12xu@gmail.com

We had the master of the split with Abject Object !! we're closer than never to have this piece of vinyl DONE for REAL ! we'll send it at the plant this week so it might be out for september or so... Abject Object songs are really awesome.

Otherwise, we're working on the mix and on the artwork of the full length "Les Grandes Marées" as well.

The 3 last shows were fun, thanks to people and friends in Milan, Munich and Reims, you rule !

By the way, we never mentioned the french punk compilation LP "no redemption for the kids" we contributed to was out ! A lot of friends bands are on it and it's a brilliant comp released by our buddies Lucien from Lost Boys and Trash from Koenigstein Youth. You can get it on the purepainsugar mailorder. We contributed with an unreleased song and a Big Boys 'Which way to go' cover... The comp looks like this :

Last week we also recorded our LP made of 11 new songs ! It will be mixed soon and it is called Les Grandes Marées...

Talking about full length release, did we tell you that the LP of our buddies from Old Growth was available on Echo Canyon and Bakery Outlet ??? You'd better check it NOW and get your copy cause it's a really awesome and solid release.



we're also working on a common tour for this fall... On the right, you'll find the shows we're trying to get. Let us know if you can help or want us to play in your town. As you'll notice, we won't be able to do the whole tour together but at least a big half.

we'll be playing the Disaster Disaster fest in Munich on July 8th and are looking for another show on the 9th ! We're having hard time finding a show so if you think you can help or interested to have us playing in your town, let us know...

we finished the writing of the full length... we'll still be recording it early june at PWL... 11 new songs for your own pleasure ladies and gentlemen.

When this will be recorded, we'll work on a cover for the Stonehenge anniversary LP compilation... Each band has to cover one song from the Stonehenge catalog...
We'll also contribute with another song for a benefit compilation for Rebellyon, an alternative and independant media covering Lyon's antifascist and libertarian activites, as well as radical counter culture...

shirts ! LP ! Boxset

on a des nouveaux tshirts !
ça servira à payer un peu de studio pour cet été... On les vend 8€ // 10€ port compris en France. On a des S, des M et des L pour chaque couleurs. On en a pas fait des masses puisqu'on ne va pas beaucoup tourner jusqu'à l'enregistrement du LP...

En parlant de LP, on enregistre donc début juin à PWL à Lyon pour notre premier "album". Les 11 nouveaux morceaux sont terminés au 3/4, restent les paroles à fignoler... On vous a dit que ça sortait chez Purepainsugar ici, Bakery Outlet aux States et Flower Of Carnage au Japon ? Carrément génial ! D'ailleurs, maintenant que l'écriture est presque terminé on va faire quelques cools concerts, le 30 mars au Trokson à Lyon, le 22 mai avec Witches quelque part à Lyon et aussi avec Marky Ramone le 13 juin à la Tannerie. Les Ramones, ok c'est vraiment mortel mais ce mec est surtout le premier batteur de Richard Hell & The Voidoids !! yeah !! Il vend sa sauce tomate maison dans son merch il paraît. Si on se met à vendre de la bouffe qu'on aime sur le nôtre, ça donnerait quelque chose comme des nouilles chinoises pour Hugues, une boîte de lentille avec de la sauce béarnaise le tout réchauffé au micro-onde pour Gwen et des petits suisse Casino pour moi-même. Pas mal ! Avec un bon packaging, ça devrait le faire !
Hey, en parlant de packaging (attention la transition), on a bientôt fini de tout mettre en forme pour la Boxset de la single series. Ce sera super limité, mais vraiment cool. Restent quelques trucs à faire encore mais d'ici un petit mois, ça devrait être dispo pour celles et ceux qui ont raté les 7". Les 8 morceaux de la série devraient compilés aussi un de ces 4 sur un LP aux USA chez Bakery Outlet/ Rorschach et en CD au Japon sur Oto Records. Mais ça se pourrait qu'il y ait un petit contre temps...

En parlant de contre temps ('tain les tranisitions géniales !) on est complètement à la rue pour le split avec Abject Object et c'est entièrement de notre faute. Enregistrer quelque part, mixer à un autre et masteriser encore à un autre ça peut vite dégénérer et être complètement incontrôlable. Donc, il nous reste toujours un morceau à mixer qui ne se fait pas pour des raisons en dehors de notre volonté et c'est archi desespérant ! On a un morceau à nous pour ce split et une reprise de Green Day un peu à la Violent Femmes (Abject Object reprennent Pinhead Gunpowder - Billie Joe sera content on espère).

A la fin de l'année, aussi on devrait partir en tournée avec Old Growth car leur nouvel album arrive bientôt chez Echo Canyon ! Le nôtre sera prêt aussi normalement. Ils viendront deux semaines fin octobre.

Ah oui, dernier truc. On a carrément pas chaumé ces derniers mois car en plus d'avoir écrit une dizaine de nouveaux morceaux, Veuve SS a sorti sa démo (avec Hugues au chant) et Baton Rouge a sorti son premier LP/CD et fait des concerts (avec Gwen et moi-même). Si vous voulez aller jeter une oreille, c'est par ici que ça se passe :

hey we have new shirts !
they're 12€ post paid, you can write us an email to get yours, they're really awesome and they will help us to pay the recording of our LP. We have both colors in S, M and L.





we'll also record our full length in june, it's 3/4 done... we have 11 new songs so far ! Should be out on great labels such as Purepainsugar in Europe, Bakery Outlet in the US and Flower Of Carnage in Japan. We can expect it for this fall so there's still time to talk about it and having the details finished.
We have another release on the desk for a crazy length of time now... the split with Abject Object is delayed because of us! we suck ! A song still has to be mixed and it takes an unbelievable amount of time for some reasons. Having tracks recorded in a place, then mixed in another and finally mastered in a third one can make thing totally uncontrolable and it's exactly what's happening right now.

We'll play some cool shows... but very few until the recording. Next week we'll play our first show since 6 months in Lyon. Then we'll do a show for the amazing Witches from Athens on may 22nd and right after the recording we'll play with Marky Ramone who obviously played in the Ramones but on top of that, played in the first line-up of Richard Hell and Voidoids !!! Then, this fall, we'll tour with our dear buddies from Old Growth who have their LP out and soon available on Echo Canyon. They'll be there for 2 weeks.

In the last couple of months our other bands released their debut release ! Hugues sings in Veuve SS, they have their demo tape out. Gwen and I play in Baton Rouge and we have our debut LP/CD out on Purepainsugar and Bakery Outlet. If you want to check them out, go there :

By the way, for those who missed the 7"es, we're currently finishing the boxset. It's almost done and it will be very limited... but that box will have plenty of cool stuff in it. By the way, these songs may be compiled on LP in the US and Japan on CD as well... More infos about it soon !
